We`re looking for a highly organised and experienced Product Development professional to join the team to be responsible for the development of seasonal ranges of clothing for an internationally recognised brand.

What will you be doing?

Create products with the required features, costs and lead times for your specific ranges.
Produce an accurate, detailed technical specification for each product.
Approve appropriate, commercial branding and trim packages for each range, whilst continually researching and developing new ideas.
Maintain the fabric library.
Assess prototype and pre-production samples with the team against each specification and advise any amendments/improvements to the relevant manufacturer.
Approve lab dips, strike-offs, knit-downs, panels etc and to clearly feedback any outcome to the relevant supplier.
Work with others in the team to obtain and negotiate costs with suppliers.
Ensure all records, photography logs, progress trackers and departmental records are accurately updated and maintained, so that progress against critical path can be tracked and monitored.
Provide accurate information on all products to the Product Team as required.
Ensure the Mock Shop is well presented and that products are updated to meet the current range and showcase the highest standards of products.

Who are we looking for?

We`d like to hear from highly organised Product Development professionals ideally with experience of working for a global sports or lifestyle brand and/or working with manufacturers in Europe and Asia.

The successful candidate will need to have excellent administration skills, proficiency in Microsoft packages and an ability to present accurate information in a clear manner.

Our working environment is fast paced and dynamic so you will need to be comfortable with these ways of working and can manage multiple priorities in addition to excellent time management skills.

To make this role a success you will need solid written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence and negotiate with others. This is a collaborative role so you will need great relationship building ability.
