We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Product Owner to come and join our Digital team to define, set up and run a new product proposition. Reporting directly into the Director of Product and Project Management you will be the subject matter expert and lead on defining, launching and managing the Rewards and Membership products.

What will you be doing?

-Create a new & enhanced rewards proposition both free and paid, domestic and international.
-Define the proposition and work with key internal stakeholders & external partners owning the relationships and delivery plan
-Manage and continuously improve the new rewards proposition on an ongoing basis working in an Agile environment
-Management of product benefits or current Membership proposition to maximise engagement and achieve revenue targets.
-Ensure delivery across the Club product areas to manage delivery of benefits to Members
-Lead fan journey planning throughout delivery of enhanced Reward & Membership proposition development
-Collaborate with others across the team to ensure the delivery of all benefits through appropriate channels in timely and seamless fashion
-Ownership of creating and running experiential experiences, events and opportunities for rewards & members to increase fan engagement
-Management of day-to-day promotional activity required in order to deliver rewards & membership proposition to both free and paying members
-Management of campaigns via Campaign team to deliver acquisition plans
-Work closely with Insight team to develop programme of ongoing research and feedback to monitor progress of scheme
-Work closely with Data Management team to ensure all on and offline product acquisition data is collected and managed is in line with current legal requirement and best practice
-Ownership of seasonal activity plan and management of process, timeline and content requirements to deliver communication to members e.g. welcome emails, cross sales, promotions, upsell
-Coaching and development of other team members

Who are we looking for?

We`re looking for somebody to be a Product Owner subject matter expert for the business, so it is therefore essential you have experience of working in a product ownership role within an agile product environment. You will need to have an understanding of Membership programmes and their role in the development of fan engagement.

We would be particularly interested to hear from those who have experience of loyalty/reward programmes` and/ or international Marketing experience.

You will need to have previous experience of working on strategic and joint marketing projects with internal stakeholders as this is a key part of this role. You must be somebody who is comfortable in working with stakeholders at all levels of a business.

To apply for this role, you will need strong written and verbal communication skills and be I.T savvy.

This is a busy role so you will need to be organised, have strong planning skills and be confident in managing projects to tight deadlines. We`re looking for a motivated individual who will use their initiative to make things happen.

This is a collaborative role so we`re looking for a team player.

Lastly, it would be helpful if you have an interest in the Football industry, or the Sporting industry as a whole, so that you understand the evolving marketplace from both an industry and fan perspective.
